Instead of choosing a book by its cover, you'll select your preferred tropes, genres, or reading preferences, and we'll hand-pick a wrapped book just for you. Every order is packed with care to make opening it feel like a special occasion.
How do I choose my book?
During checkout, you'll complete a short questionnaire telling us what you enjoy reading. You can share your favorite genres, tropes, spice level, authors, and even what you'd like us to avoid. We use your answers to choose the best match from our inventory.
Can I request specific tropes?
Absolutely! We encourage it.

Can I request a specific author?
Yes! While we can't guarantee every request due to inventory, we'll always do our best to match your preferred author whenever possible.
Will I receive a duplicate book?
We make every effort to avoid sending duplicate books to returning customers. If you've ordered from us before, we'll reference your previous purchases whenever possible. If you're ordering as a gift, let us know during checkout so we can curate accordingly.
Can I purchase a Blind Book Date as a gift?
Absolutely! Blind Book Dates make the perfect gift for book lovers. Simply let us know it's a gift during checkout, and we'll package it with the same care and excitement as every SMUT Mobile order.
What if I'm new to romance or urban fiction?

Do you only sell romance books?
Not at all! While romance is at the heart of SMUT Mobile, we also offer urban fiction, thrillers, self-growth, and other carefully curated books that entertain, inspire, and empower. Our goal is to help every reader discover a story they'll love.
Do you carry books by Black authors?
Absolutely! Supporting Black authors is one of the foundations of SMUT Mobile. We're passionate about highlighting established, emerging, and independent Black authors while connecting readers with stories that deserve to be celebrated.
Do you carry indie (independent) authors?
Yes! We proudly support indie authors and love introducing readers to hidden gems they may not discover anywhere else. Many of our recommendations come directly from authors we've partnered with or books we've personally enjoyed.
Are your books new?
Most of our books are brand new. If we ever offer gently loved or special edition books, they'll always be clearly labeled in the product description.
Do you sell standalone books and series?
Yes! We carry both standalone novels and books from popular series. If a book is part of a series, we'll let you know in the product description whenever possible.
Do you sell signed books or special editions?
From time to time, yes! We hope to offer signed copies, exclusive editions, and other special releases through author partnerships and limited-time events. Be sure to join our Book Baddie Club to stay in the loop!
How do you choose the books you carry?
Every book is carefully selected with intention. We prioritize engaging stories, diverse voices, and books we believe our community will genuinely enjoy. Many titles are personally recommended, reviewed, or sourced through partnerships with authors and publishers.
Do you offer options for Kindle or eReader users?
Yes! In addition to our physical Blind Book Dates, we also offer digital reading experiences designed for Kindle and other eReaders. You'll still enjoy the fun of a Blind Book Date with curated extras and a guided reveal—just in a digital format.

From the moment you place your order to the day it arrives at your doorstep, we want the experience to be smooth and stress-free.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Most orders are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days. During new releases, holidays, or special promotions, processing times may be slightly longer. If that happens, we'll keep you updated every step of the way.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship throughout the United States.
As SMUT Mobile grows, we hope to expand to additional locations in the future.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order size, weight, and delivery location.
From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions, so be sure to join our Book Baddie Club and follow us on social media for updates.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your package every step of the way.
Can I return my Blind Book Date?
Because every Blind Book Date is personally curated based on your preferences, we do not accept returns or exchanges for preference-based selections.
However, if your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we'll be happy to make it right.
What if my order arrives damaged?
We're so sorry if that happens! Please email us within 7 days of receiving your order and include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged item(s)
- Photos of the packaging
We'll review the issue and work with you to find the best solution.
Can I cancel or change my order?
If your order hasn't been packed or shipped yet, we'll do our best to accommodate changes or cancellations.
Once your order has been processed for shipping, we may no longer be able to make changes.
What if I entered the wrong shipping address?
Please contact us as soon as possible.
If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll update your address.
Once an order has been shipped, we aren't responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address entered during checkout.
Do you offer local pickup?
Not at this time.
As SMUT Mobile continues to grow and our mobile bookstore launches, local pickup and event pickup opportunities may become available.

We'll carefully review your submission to see if it's a good fit for SMUT Mobile and our community. Due to the number of requests we receive, we can't guarantee every book will be selected.
Do you guarantee reviews?
No. While we appreciate every submission, we cannot guarantee a review, feature, or promotion.
If your book is selected, all reviews shared by SMUT Mobile are honest, respectful, and based on our genuine reading experience.
Do you charge for reviews?
No. We do not sell positive reviews.
Our reviews reflect our honest opinions because we value authenticity and the trust of both our readers and author partners.
Please note: We may offer separate paid promotional opportunities in the future. These will always be clearly identified as promotional services and will never influence our reviews.

Lottie's Library is the heart of our community outreach efforts.
Named in honor of a beloved family legacy, this initiative is dedicated to increasing access to books, encouraging literacy, and giving back through future book-sharing programs, donations, and community events.

Is SMUT Mobile only an online bookstore?
Right now, SMUT Mobile primarily serves readers online through our website.
Our long-term vision is to bring our bookstore on the road, creating a mobile bookstore experience that pops up at community events, festivals, schools, and neighborhoods to make books more accessible and bring readers together.
